Drum Tracking for "Imaginary Times"

Our good friend Dan Aguar at Digima24 let us use his film studio to haul all of our recording equipment in and do a phantom overnight recording session this past April. We got 8 tracks done for our upcoming album, "Imaginary Times." My roommate Andy from the band WEIRDBEARD also stopped by to lend a hand. Here's a few tidbits from the session that Ryan captured with his camera. As the night progressed into morning, both sanity and clothing began to flee......

The room was fantastic and it allowed me to get the John Bonham-y Flaming Lips-sounding drums that I was hoping to capture!! We had a blast. Maker's Mark Whiskey, Blenheim Ginger Ale, and cannibanoids should also get production credit for the album.

More to come!!

More messin' around

We were looking for a big-ass room with a lot of natural reverb
